Gorby and Me

Here is a link to a piece I did a few years back that intertwines memories of my own experiences in Russia with a meditation on Mikhail Gorbachev’s singular role in his nation’s history. I wrote the article when Gorbachev spoke at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 2004.
